Dominique Farrugia was born on Sep 02, 1962 in France. First known as one of the writers of the "Les Nuls" comic group (composed of Alain Chabat, Chantal Lauby and Bruno Carette), he took part in this group and had a great success on French TV "Canal +". After 6 years on TV, "Les Nuls" decided to write and make their own film La Cité de la peur, une comédie familiale (1994), and split afterwards. Dominique Farrugia became the head of the cable channel "Comédie !", dedicated to all kinds of humor. Then, towards the end of 2001, he created "Cuisine TV", a channel dedicated to food. In February 2002, he became the program director of "Canal +". In 2003 , he ran his own production company Barbes Films and signed a production deal with Studio Canal. He also became Producer of TV Shows for several French TV channels as Canal Plus, TPS Star, M6, Direct 8, etc... In 2006, he also became director of a play "Et Après" at the "Théâtre de la Gaité-Montparnasse".
