She landed some small film and TV roles before her subtle performance in Inside Moves (1980) was nominated for an Oscar, and as Joan Crawford's daughter in Mommie Dearest (1981) - the infamous Razzie. Understated film and TV roles followed. Retired, she lives east of Savannah, Georgia, working with local non-profit organizations and acting workshops.
