Dea Vise hails from Texas and went to high school in a small town on the border of Mexico called Del Rio, Texas, which was 180 miles from water and 3 feet from Hell. Her name is pronounced "dee vice." So, she was left with the choice between comedy and porn. She chose comedy, sadly, and performed stand-up and sketch comedy all across Texas and later in Los Angeles in the Bravo Company of ACME Comedy Theater and in a few L.A. theaters before beginning as a casting assistant for commercials which quickly changed to being a full-time casting director for movies and television shows. Her one woman comic musical "Split Ends" garnered rave reviews in many theaters and she was compared to Tracey Ullman with her ability to perform many different characters easily. She writes comedy. She rewrites dramas.As the daughter of an United States Air Force Flight Commander, a teenaged Dea Vise enjoyed stressing out the flirtatious flyboys at the officer's pool each summer when they realized her last name was the same as Lt. Colonel C.D. Vise's last name.Dea has many degrees including an A.A. in Film Acting, a B.A. in Drama, an M.A. in Clinical Psychology and most of a Doctorate in Psychology. She is still working on her doctoral dissertation and hopes to finish by the summer of 2019.Miss Vise plays the ukulele. She also casts an incredibly large amount of Christian projects. These things are not related.
