Daisuke Ban

Daisuke Ban was born on May 05, 1947 in Japan. Daisuke Ban's big-screen debut came with Kikaida: Android of Justice - Season 1 directed by Toyohiko Hatakeyama in 1972, strarring Jiro / Kikaida / Kikaider. Daisuke Ban is known for Ringu directed by Hideo Nakata, Nanako Matsushima stars as Reiko Asakawa and Miki Nakatani as Mai Takano. The upcoming new movie Daisuke Ban plays is Fire Fox Tochionger Seven which will be released on Apr 16, 2018.

Daisuke Ban is a graduate of Saitama-Ken Senior High School. After making his debut in OUMUTO NI WATORI (1971), he got his first starring role as the android Jiroo in the popular TV series "Jinzo ningen kikaidaa" (1972). Since then, he starred in other superhero shows including INAZUMAN (1973), NINJA CAPTOR (1976) and BATTLE FEVER J (1979), as well as action shows like SPECIAL INVESTIGATION FRONTLINE. To this day, Daisuke also attends sci-fi and comic-book conventions in Japan to greet fans of the shows he starred in.
