Chad Archibald was born on Jul 30, 1981 in Canada. Chad Archibald's big-screen debut came with Desperate Souls directed by Chad Archibald in 2005.

Chad Archibald is the creator and co-owner of the Canadian production company Black Fawn Films. Along with producing over 20 feature films, Archibald has directed 8 feature films himself including I'll Take Your Dead, Neverlost, The Heretics and Bite. In 2015, Archibald's insect body-horror film Bite erupted on the festival circuit after ambulances were called to its sold out world premiere at Fantasia International Film Festival due to a number of people fainting. This was celebrated by horror fans as a "Falling Ovation" while Ain't It Cool News called the film "over the top gross and amazing to witness!" In 2016, Archibald directed the cult horror film The Heretics which played festivals worldwide while also being picked up by TMN/HBO for SVOD. In 2018, Archibald directed his biggest feature to date: the thriller I'll Take Your Dead which stars Aidan Devine (A History of Violence, Suicide Squad), Ava Preston (The Odd Squad, The Kennedy's), Jessica Salgueiro (Letterkenny, Workin' Moms, The Boys) and Ari Millen (Orphan Black, Rupture). The film recently completed a theatrical run in both Canada and the United States.Recently Archibald produced the Northern Gothic "The Oak Room" starring R.J Mitte (Breaking Bad). The film went on to win Best Canadian Feature after it's world premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival as well as winning the Audience Award at Grimmfest in the UK. Soon after it became Certified Fresh at 90%. In 2019, Archibald produced the Shudder Original Horror Comedy "Vicious Fun" starring David Koechner (Anchorman, The Office) which took home Best Feature at both the Blood in The Snow Film Festival and the South African Horrorfest before getting Certified Fresh at 88% and making it on the Rotten Tomatoes "Best Films of 2021" list.
