Carry Goossens, born Edgard Goossens, is a Flemish actor. A mainstay in Flemish television and film, Goossens is primarily known for playing two innkeepers on the small screen, notably in two sitcoms. He had a lead role as Oscar Crucke in F.C. De Kampioenen (1990) (1990-1993) and co-starred as Jef Van den Sande in Lili & Marleen (1994) (1994-2010), the latter set during World War II. Internationally, Goossens is known for his role as dean Walter De Paepe in Professor T. (2015) and for his role as Hannah's father Robert Maes in Code 37 (2009). A respected character actor in Belgium (Flanders) mastering every genre, Goossens's trademark became comedy, mostly in theatre. Goossens turned actor at a relatively late age, exploring other creative horizons at first.
