Born Carolyn Bardwell in Baytown, Texas; near Houston. She grew up there and Las Vegas. She attempted to move to Hollywood several times in her teens and twenties and finally succeeded in 1994. She immediately booked a national commercial and signed with a top commercial agency. While hanging out with the next generation of A-list Hollywood talent such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and Jared Leto, Carolyn landed her first starring role, in, "Too Good to be True" in 1997 by the writer of "Cinderella Man." Success came quickly but was followed by a period of artistic struggle. Then Carolyn married soon to be famous artist-writer-director, Mark James Christian in Pacific Palisades, California on June 26 2001. She took her husband's last name and joined S.A.G. in 2002 as Carolyn Christian. While working on independent and experimental films, she attended the prestigious Baron/Brown Acting Studio in Santa Monica, CA and graduated in 2006. In September of 2007, she worked opposite Sandra Bullock in "All About Steve." In 2008, she worked with Billy Bob Thornton in "Manure." Mid-winter, 2009 find's Carolyn and Mark in development on several highly significant and historic entertainment projects, the nature of which can not be revealed at the time of this writing.
