Candice Vernon is a Writer/Director/Producer, from the small island of Jamaica and a graduate of Temple University's renowned film program. She began her career casting for film and television (Mad Men, Across the Universe, Law and Order). She then decided to perfect her craft realizing it's best to learn production from the ground up. Candice worked as a production assistant, director's assistant and production coordinator, eventually becoming an Executive Producer in Advertising Content Production with clients such as the Dollar Shave Club, Time Warner Cable, and Jockey. Most recently Candice has left the world of Advertising to return to writing and directing with the debut of Make America Great? an award winning short film, which appeared in The Hollywood Reporter and other publications. Candice is currently in development for her first feature film More Alive, penning the first season of her web series, Finding Jane, and other film & television projects in development.
