Brett began making films in Tucson, Arizona at the age of 14 with the family camcorder. His first video was a sequel to Stephen King's Christine, in which his mother's Buick made its video debut.Fifteen years later Brett received critical acclaim for his short documentary Run to Jay's: Tournament of Champions, which played at nearly two dozen film festivals and received numerous jury and audience awards. In addition to writing and directing, Brett is an experienced video editor and web developer.He recently co-founded Side Street Productions with long-time friend Brian Petersen. Coyote, a feature film, is the first project to come out of the company.
