The 1986 film Eshalonite (Transports of Death) directed by Borislav Punchev was a docudrama about the survival of the Jews. Borislav Punchev was a professor at National Academy of Theatre and Film Art, Sofia, Bulgaria. He died on Friday, August 28th, 1998 at the age of sixty-nine (69) in Sofia, Bulgaria.
