Boris Khimichev was born in family, which was far from acting: his mother was a teacher, and his father was the chairman of the collective farm. The difficult military and post-war years undermined Boris's health, and the boy became an object for attacks by peers. An outlet for the child at that time was a rare film show in a rural club, but he did not even dream of becoming an actor. After finishing school, Boris submitted documents to the Lvov Mining Institute and was enrolled in the faculty for the development of non-metallic sites. However, the young man was not attracted to the prospect of becoming a geologist, the desire of some other, brighter life led him to Kiev, where he became a student of the radio-physical faculty. In the movie Khimichev debuted the role of Lieutenant Artamonov in the detective "Operation" Trust ". In the future, he often acted in detective films, playing usually negative roles - "The Sleuth". But still more often the directors invited the actor to the "costume" roles. Boris Khimichev died on the 82nd year of life on September 14, 2014 at his dacha in Moscow.
