Bogdan Borisov Glishev is Bulgarian actor. He was born on March 6, 1947 in Sofia, Bulgaria. He graduated acting in National Academy for Theatre and Film Art, Sofia, Bulgaria in 1973 in the class of Apostol Karamitev. He worked in theaters in Yambol, Haskovo, Burgas, Theater 199. Since 1979 he is the troupe of Theatre "Sofia". His famous theater roles include Dr. Rank in "A Doll's House" by Henrik Ibsen , Athos in "The Three Musketeers" by Mark Rehels, Aristarchus in the "Energy People" by Vasily Shukshin, Shalamov in "Last summer in Chulimsk" by Alexander Vampilov, Tartuffe in "Tartuffe" by Moliere , Jean-Jacques in "Diary of a man" by Jean-Claude Carriere , presbyter Kozma in "Trial against Bogomils" by Stefan Tsanev , Mr. Smith in "The Bald Soprano" by Eugene Ionesco , Crap in " Krapp's Last Tape" by Samuel Beckett , Rosencrantz in "Hamlet" by William Shakespeare . He won Award for Best Actor (lawyer Stoyanov in "Bulgarian Divorce " by Nedialko Yordanov ) at the Eighth National Review of Bulgarian drama and theater - 1979. He has participated in over 30 Bulgarian feature films ("Measure According To Measure", "A Woman of 33," "Case 205/1913", "Cruel and Innocent", "My Friends Call Me Uncle"). He operates in more than 50 documentaries as narrator. He knows English, Polish and Russian. He is also translator and journalist. He has directed chamber music performances in the Polish Cultural Institute. He is a Knight of the Order of Merit for Polish Culture (1998).
