Director, writer, producer for more than forty years, his films have been honored with awards from over thirty film festivals and international competitions including the French César Awards and the Berlinale's UNICEF Prize for Best Feature. In 2007, Bob Swaim asked to re-organize and develop the International Department of EICAR, the International Film & Television school of Paris. Today the school is classed among the top five international private film academies. For his contribution to the French film industry, the French Minister of Culture has named him Officier des Arts et des Lettres. Bob Swaim is currently Director of the International Department EICAR and writing his next feature film.
