Bob Parr was born on Dec 26, 1954 in USA. Bob Parr's big-screen debut came with Valet Girls directed by Rafal Zielinski in 1986, strarring The Grunts / New Psychotics.

Born the son of a famous Cirkus Brumbach performer with the 'Parroff Trio', and big band singer 'Madeline Mahoney'. Bob Parr studied voice with the renowned Miniperle Taylor in Sarasota, Florida, and performed in several off-Broadway shows, including 'The Student Prince' and 'Amahl and the Night Visitors'. Parr attended Berklee College of Music in Boston before transferring to University of North Texas, Denton, where he pursued a degree in Instrumental Performance on the bass. In 1979 Parr joined the 'Cher-Take Me Home' tour, and continued to tour with the artist 'Cher' for some three more years. Parr also became a regular on the Los Angeles session scene, having played on several Television and FIlm soundtracks and underscoring. Parr has recorded with several major artists including: Barry White, Gladys Knight, The Jetts, Bob Mamet, and Gloria Loring. Parr transitioned from session player to music producer with the artist Meri D. Marshall in 1984, and won both the Tokyo Music Festival in 1984 and the Seoul Song Festival in 1985. He wrote and produced the first ' Top Twenty double A-side' on the Billboard Dance Charts with his song 'That's Where The Happy People Go' and the flip side 'Here In The Darkness' with artist 'Greg Stone'. He then became immersed in orchestration, arranging and conducting, appearing as an orchestrating and conducting on the IMAX film 'Yellowstone', with composer David Hamilton. Parr has worked as an orchestration/arranger for several major artists, including Gene Page, of 'The Love Unlimited Orchestra' fame. He has also worked as a midi programmer for several major artists including David Foster, Mark Waters, Brian Wilson and Leon Silvers. Parr toured with the Brian Setzer Orchestra for four years, making appearances on the albums with Brian Setzer on 'The Mask', 'The Guitar Slinger', 'Lady Luck', 'Jump Jive and Wail', 'The Aristocats', and the Leonard Bernstein tribute soundtrack album from 'The West Side Story'.
