After graduating high school with a 4.0 GPA, Blake returned back to the east coast where he attended New York University Tisch School. He graduated from NYU with honors in both Drama (BFA) and Journalism (BA.)Blake's professional acting debut occurred after director James Bartolomeo cast him as Rashawn Brazell in America's Most Wanted (1988). Shortly after, Blake was cast in the star role in Kirk Shannon-Butts feature film, Blueprint.Aside from film and television, Blake worked as a print model. Additionally, Blake has performed on stage in New York City, and London.Blake remains close with his older brother who works in business and with his younger brother who works in entertainment production.
