Bill Kerr

Bill Kerr was born on Jun 10, 1922 in South Africa. Bill Kerr's big-screen debut came with The Dam Busters directed by Michael Anderson in 1955, strarring Flight Lieutenant H. B. Martin, D.S.O., D.F.C., A.F.C. (now Wing Commander). Bill Kerr is known for The Heroes directed by Donald Crombie, Paul Rhys stars as Ivan Lyon and John Bach as Donald Davidson. The upcoming new movie Bill Kerr plays is Peter Pan which will be released on Dec 25, 2003.

In the 1950s, Bill Kerr was one of Tony Hancock's regular sidekicks in the popular radio series 'Hancock's Half Hour'. In the first series he was smarter than Tony, but as the series progressed he became more and more stupid and childlike, regularly calling Tony 'Tubb'. Despite remaining on the radio series throughout its six year run, when the TV series began he was not required.
