Art Arthur

Art Arthur was born on Jul 24, 1911 in Canada. Art Arthur's big-screen debut came with Charlie Chan on Broadway directed by Eugene Forde in 1937. Art Arthur is known for Sleepytime Gal directed by Albert S. Rogell, Judy Canova stars as Bessie Cobb and Tom Brown as Chick Patterson. The upcoming new movie Art Arthur plays is Hello Down There which will be released on May 02, 1969.

Arthur started in the business as a Broadway columnist for the Brooklyn Daily Eagle, later going to work for the Toronto Star. He worked on Cecil B. DeMille¡¦s executive staff as well as serving on the executive board of the Writers Guild of America. He also worked on the Oscar winning documentary, Seeds of Destiny, in 1946.
