Arafat Hossain was born on Jul 24, 2002 in Bangladesh. Arafat Hossain's big-screen debut came with Chaamp directed by Raj Chakraborty in 2017, strarring Writers.

Arafat Hossain is a filmmaker, writer and actor from Dhaka, Bangladesh. Basically he is an independent film maker. He is very passionate about films and books. He was born in a very middle class family in Dhaka. He completed his study from a public university of Bangladesh. In spite of so many limitations, he makes his film gradually. He don't have any types of professional film making instrument. But he has nothing but fantastic knowledge of film making. Now-a-days, he is trying to gradually develop his film knowledge by doing some experimental works like 'APNAKEI BOLI', 'COMMODITY', 'BATTLE OF POEM', 'VACANCY'. Recently he made his silent short "VACANCY'' by a simple smartphone. Which has gained a lot of accolades from abroad. He has a great interest on writing short stories and poetry. Recently he is writing many magical short stories and poems.
