Antón Goenechea is a Spanish film director and screenwriter. He has worked in projects in Spain, Mexico, the United States, India, and Colombia. In New York, Goenechea wrote and directed his first feature Bad Vegan and the Teleportation Machine (2017). Bad Vegan and the Teleportation Machine was screened in the Woodstock Film Festival and the Brooklyn Film Festival. As a screenwriter, Goenechea has authored Humberto Hinojosa's last three Movies: Paraiso Perdido (2016), Camino a Marte (2017), and Un Papá Pirata (f.k.a. Lucha de Gigantes) (2019). He also wrote the last film of the celebrated Mexican director, Jorge Michel Grau, Bunker (2019), produced by Dynamo and Tarumama (2021) directed by Andrés Beltran. Goenechea wrote two episodes for Green Frontier (2019) a Netflix series, shot over the summer of 2018, which takes place in the Colombian Amazon. He was part of the writers' room for Netflix original series Historia de un Crimen: Colmenares (2019) writing one episode. He was part of the writers' room of Luis Miguel: La Serie (2021) as Story Editor writing three episodes.
