Anthony Alonzo was born on Apr 02, 1948 in Philippines. Anthony Alonzo's big-screen debut came with Pompa directed by Lauro Pacheco in 1980, strarring Daniel.

Born to Alfredo Hernandez and Lourdes Viana, Antonio V. Hernandez received his elementary and secondary education at the Marulas Elementary School and Espiritu Santo High School, respectively. He took up Commerce at the Mapua Institute of Technology. Under the screen name "Anthony Alonzo," he forayed into movies. Most of the films he appeared in were action movies, like Muntinlupa 1950 (1958), Target: Batang Sindikato (1983) The Fighting Mayor (1983), Intrusion: Cambodia (1983), Warren Balane (1983) and Manila Gangwar (1984). Alonzo won as Best Actor in the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts & Sciences (FAMAS) for Bambang (1982), and at the Metro Manila Film Festival for Bago Kumalat Ang Kamandag (1983), Moises Padilla Story: The Missing Chapter (1985) and Anak Badjao (1987). He died in the 1990s.
