Aline Kuppenheim studied theatre between 1988 and 1991 and began her career with the theater production The Threepenny Opera by Bertolt Brecht. In that same year, she made her debut in television. For a decade, she acted in fifteen different television shows that appeared on different local channels. During this time she acted in the films The man who imagined and Three Tall Women. In 2000, she decided to leave television to concentrate on films and theatre. Among her films are Dreaming of Julia, Machuca, The Good Life, Play, Cuban Blood, and Turistas. In 2005, she founded her own theater company, Teatro Milagros, (Theater Miracles) through which she researches and develops puppet productions. As a result, she has directed two montage productions: The Overcoat by Gogol and On the Line by Mike Kenny, both are currently touring internationally. It was also during this time that Kuppenheim returned to the small screen and acted in several television shows. Her last project was acting in the first season of the Fugitives on HBO. Currently, she is filming the second season of Fugitives and is preparing the premier of the play All passengers must go down by Alejandro Seveking and directed by Alejandro Goic.Awards and Nominations .
