Alicja Jaworski was born on Jun 04, 1955 in Poland. Alicja Jaworski's big-screen debut came with Hundhotellet directed by Per Åhlin in 2000.

Alicja Jaworski Björk was born in Warsaw, the capital of Poland, in 1955. In Warsaw she studied architecture in 1975-1979 and worked in the animation studio in 1981-1982. In 1983 Björk moved to Sweden and joined the PennFilm Studio in 1985. She worked as an animator on the feature film "Resan till Melonia" (1989) and since then worked as an animator and background animator on several projects. In 2005 she won the Special Prize of the Deutsches Kinderhilfswerk for best short film for "Lilla grisen flyger" at the Berlin International Film Festival. Between 2006-2009 she directed a series of short films and TV series about "Lilla spöket Laban", which is very popular in Scandinavia. She has also co-directed films "Var inte rädd Långa farbrorn" (2011), "Lilla Anna och Långa farbrorn" (2012) and "Emil & Ida i Lönneberga" (2013).
