Alexander Chehrazi's passion for filmmaking had begun when he was a child. The magic of cinema had captivated him, and he was certain he wanted to be involved in the industry and be a part of that world. He just wasn't sure how, where or when his journey would begin. In 2009, the young filmmaker made that leap forward. He had purchased himself a cheap, lower quality camera and immediately started making his own films. When he first began directing and producing, he took all matters and responsibilities into his own hands. He never worked with a professional crew, never had any assistance on set, nor had a producer throw a large budget at him. The aspiring director learned to create films with the resources available to him. From utilizing his close circle of friends as principal actors, to shooting his movies with only practical lighting; his knowledge of how to make films grew stronger and stronger by project as he taught himself all that he knew. Over time, Alex Chehrazi has progressed by working under more practical circumstances and has begun working with others in a more professional environment. The type of projects that he has contributed to range from short films, music videos, documentaries, montages; etc. All aspects of filmmaking are considered important to the young artist. He continues to create and collaborate with others, with the desire to inspire and emotionally connect with the people of the world.
