After walking out of a grad school program and on the same night auditioning for "Mousetrap", Al landed the lead role of Detective Sergeant Trotter, his first theater role since childhood theater productions. He then went on to play Stanley in "Streetcar Named Desire" and Dallas Winston in "The Outsiders" that same year. Al has been acting professionally ever since. Recently, Al can be seen as Billy Clanton on "Wild West Chronicles" (InspTV) and as Khan in "A Grunt's Life". (VetTV), as well as Officer Williams in "The Night Passenger", starring Richard Short, having premiered at the TLC Chinese Theater. With a lead role in "The Pipes", a feature film set to premiere 2022/2023, Al has also just finished a 4-week run, in Los Angeles, of the West coast premiere of the original play "Slice", with seasoned actor Tom Simmons (of "Mank", "American Crime Story", and "Mixed-ish").Al has trained with Robert Carnegie at Playhouse West, as well as with Margie Haber, Anthony Meindl, and David Rountree. Al LaFleur resides in Los Angeles, CA.
