Adam Turkel is a filmmaker born, raised, and based in New York City. During his senior year at Northwestern University ('18), he co-created the web series Better Days with writer and star Nabeel Muscatwalla. Better Days is an official selection of the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival (Tribeca N.O.W.) and HollyWeb Festival. Adam's undergraduate thesis film Freehand won Best Digital Short at HollyWeb and premiered online as Film Shortage's Daily Short Pick. His 2016 short 39 Across won Best Student Film at the Big Apple Film Festival and was the recipient of Northwestern's Joann Torretta Award.
