5 Southern California Socialites leave their fast paced fancy lifestyles to start new lifestyles in Maui, Hawaii. The ladies meet up with a few ladies who have already established their lives on the island and show them the way of the land. One of the cast members married into Hawaiian Royalty and started a natural food company. Another one of the cast members is moving to the island after receiving a large settlement and is used to having the best of everything. Another one of the ladies dreams of a more relaxed lifestyle yet is bringing the rat race with her while she opens a new office on the island for her ad agency. Wealthy people with 2nd homes in Hawaii will be featured in the episodes while the ladies visit their homes and go to social events. All of the ladies are focusing on living healthier simpler lives while they give up their many comfort in Southern California. Will they change or will they change the islands?
