Two old master musicians, Crispin Mutanuka (1931) and Edwin Syasiya (1939), are the last ones playing their respective traditional instruments. Next to the thriving tourism around the Victoria Falls in Zambia, a small cultural tragedy is taking place: the centuries-old musical culture of the Leya people is dying out. Mutanuka and Syasiya tells the story of these two masters, through music, quiescent observations, and interviews. When they die, who will succeed them? Can the influence of the ancestors just cease?.
