King Flurkentijn and queen Bobnia of Fairyland are desperate at their utter brat daughter Fleur's ingratitude, refusing any 'dumb present idea' for her birthday, but press on till she comes up with one wish: K3. The trio accepts a magical invitation and sings at the party, but again the princess walks off rudely. Now the queen confides it's the result of a course imposed by the nameless sorcerer, who wanted to wed her at 18 and when refused, turned her heart into ice and made her beloved fiance prince Arne disappear. The trio sets out to find the sorcerer and demand he reverses the curse. He agrees, although that would destroy himself, but only as a hard dare: if they fail to guess his name with only three tries in 13 hours, they'll all be turned into ice sculptures, while access to the castle is magically barred. A frantic chase to ask fairy-tale characters proves frustrating, so truth time looks hopeless, unless chance helps them as in a fairy-tale.
