L601 lives in a white world. Humans live and work in the LIBRARY, a big information precessing plant. Everybody's feelings are controlled by a special inhibitor provided by the working facility itself. L601 is able to feel only when he dreams. His vivid dreams develop into real feelings that destroy the order of things in this Utopian society.
