"El Ciervo" ("The Deer") is a Jewish country club located on the outskirts of Buenos Aires where grandparents, parents and children spend their summer vacations, in 1993. Alma, a 13-year-old boy, violently assaults Coper, a boy somewhat younger than him, in the presence of Ariel , who will become the sole witness of these events. Parents, authorities and other people from the club will take part in the preparation of a trial where the culprit could be suspended. Meanwhile, Ariel and his friends, continuously bullied and teased by Alma, will try to continue their vacation in the best possible way.
